Our endurance triathlon department, under the experienced leadership of Silke, is now also start in the competition season.
Ferropolis
official start was the season in Ferropolis (Iron Town can not say more so). The slogan: "7,000 tonnes of steel ... and you in the Middle" sounds strong and we, as a regional association strongly committed, regard it as one of our responsibilities to support regional events, we decided, after opening last year, the event a second chance. Also los und Druck gemacht. Aber wahrscheinlich war meine Uhr kaputt. Ich las da was von 3:50 und es fühlte sich an wie 3:20, aber was solls. Nach 3 Kilometern hatte ich den alten Mann vor mir und nur noch 4 Minuten auf Roman. Also weiter...
Aber da ging nichts mehr.
Nachdem ich registireren musste, dass auch Roman raus geht (so kurz vor Frankfurt wollte er sich nicht mehr in den Keller laufen) joggte ich das ganze nur noch zu Ende. Der alte Mann zog wieder an mir vorbei und machte Meter um Meter gut.
Schließlich finishte ich in für mich sensationellen 1:33 and we were third season. In the target board there were only (!) Erdinger, but fortunately we are a strong team and Dirk made the water carrier.

Next year? Probably not! This has nothing to do me our performance, but because we believe that for best price / performance here, much less than normal. On the other hand, we get a third season certainly provided a sizeable entry fee. I do not see what else the entry fees should be used.
Moritzburg
Dirk, Stefan and I had the half-distance in Moritzburg on the plan. After I but in my sensational performance in Ferropolis always get no air needed a substitute.

Moritzburg kostet halb so viel wie Ferropolis und ist doppelt so gut.
Gut, man kommt als Zuschauer schlecht an die Radstrecke, wenn man kein Rad dabei hat (der Shuttle fährt 25 Minuten), aber ansonsten ist es von der Organisation (einschließlich Moderation) einfach Welten besser und wesentlich entspannter.
Und unsere Jungs lieferten super ab.
Dirk wurde Gesamt 10. (übers Schwimmen reden wir nicht) mit 14. Radzeit und 10. Laufzeit,
André belegte den 61. Platz (übers Schwimmen und Rad fahren reden wir nicht) mit der 5. Laufzeit und
Stefan wurde 126. mit der 4. Schwimmzeit (übers Rad fahren und laufen reden wir nicht)
Übrigens wären die Jungs wenn sie in der Reihenfolge Stefan, Dirk, André gestartet wären dritte Staffel geworden. Und das, obwohl sie ja die Kräfte einteilen mussten.
Und schließlich startete Silke in die Regionalliga, aber da lagen bis Sendeschluss noch keine Ergebnisse vor.
